I've been both using and collecting axes for over half a century, and I've never experienced anything like this Mountaineer. Meticulously crafted and well balanced., it "comes to hand" like magic. The octagonal handle has to be experienced to be appreciated. I've never had a axe sheath anywhere close to being made this well.

This is such a beautiful tool. The craftsmanship is incredible, weight balance very well established, handle is made perfect for good grip but a smooth flow while splitting pieces that require a swing.
