What do I do if I have a change of address after customizing an axe?
If you have a change of address since you placed your deposit, please contact our customer support. Changing your account information on our website will not update your previously placed order.
Is my axe subject to import fees and VAT for international shipments?
Import fees that other countries impose are out of our control. It is your responsibility to check your country's current rates and fees to get an estimation of what you could owe.

I placed my deposit for a customized axe, what's next?
Your deposit is secured after check out. We will reach back out to you as your order is nearing production, and again 3-5 weeks before your order is approximated to be complete with an invoice for your balance. Once your axe ships you will receive an automatic shipment notification with tracking via email.
Can I change my axe after I customize it?
Feel free to add or remove any variants to your model selected within 2 months from your projected completion date by contacting customer support. If your axe is already in production any alterations will delay your order to a future batch.
If you wish to switch axe models your originally projected lead time will be increased as your order will be placed at the bottom of the newly selected models list.
Can I pre-pay for the balance of my order or pay in installments?
We do not offer any pre-pay or installment payment options. If more time is needed to pay for your balance at the completion of your axe please contact customer support in order to prevent your axe from being forfeited.
Can I cancel my deposit and get a refund?
All of our pre-order deposits are non-refundable as we order materials and plan batches months in advance. If you believe you are entitled to a refund please contact customer support.
Is there a way to get my axe sooner than the projected lead time?
All of our axes are forged in weekly batches by model, and sent to customers in the chronological order in which we receive pre-orders.
It is possible that your order will be completed sooner than originally estimated as these are approximated lead times.

What does and doesn't count as a mis-stamp?
All of our axes are hand-made and hand-stamped. Given the variances of the surface we stamp our logo onto, and the human error of hand-placing the stamp on the axe, we occasionally mis-stamp the axe.
The impression of the state and country on our stamp does not determine if the axe is a mis-stamp. The clarity, placement, and overall impression of our LH logo are the main determining factors of whether the axe is a mis-stamp or not.
If the LH is placed well and stamped clearly, but the state or country is not, this does not count as a mis-stamp.
Will my axe have the same texture and grain as the website image?
Because all of our axes are hand forged and use natural wood for the handles, each axe will be unique, similarly to a fingerprint. No two axes are the same, and while they will all share the same profile and overall shape the marks and grain will be different from axe to axe.
