Trappers Hatchet Head
Coming in a little larger than our Mini Camper, the Trapper's Hatchet is ideal for the hunter or camp enthusiast. Its head weight is 1.5 pounds, making it light enough to carry into the forest without tiring. The winning feature of this hatchet is its hammerhead poll, which is hardened and crowned so it can be used as a hammer without worrying about damaging your axe. Optionally, you can choose to add a custom leather sheath below.

Featuring the standard LH logo stamp on the right side, this axe also has a ‘M’ logo on the left side of the axe, signifying both the Makers who will have the experience of hanging your Hoffman Axe on a handle of your choosing, and the Blue Ridge Mountains where it was forged.
One of a kind
All of our axes are hand forged, and one of a kind like a fingerprint. The axe head you receive may vary in texture from the pictured axe. If you notice a black line or “stretching” near the eye of your axe this is completely normal, and a part of the hand forging process of the eye.
