I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but the initial inspection reveals very high quality. I believe I have purchased the best money can buy.
This is my second axe, and will not be my last. I have not used it yet, but if it anything like the 19 version I purchased Im sure i wont be disappointed.
Love this little workhorse. Great for the back of my truck and in a backpack. Also looks amazing.
The book was shipped same day or the next morning, packaging was great and the book was in perfect condition.
Blown away by the quality and performance, paired up with my silky saw the Wasatch was a much needed addition to my canoe camping set up. Just got done with a three day trip down the New River and the Wasatch processed all the wood for a couple friends and I and never flinched. Hard woods, soft woods, whatever was available. The legacy guarantee provides peace of mind and really makes you want to go out and use this axe like it was meant to be used. I’d say it is a work of art, that will serve me well for a lifetime and then some!
I had two hatches that were dull went onto YouTube to learn how to sharpen them picked it up real quick went ahead and sharpened them now the razor sharp. This puck is amazing. Love it.
Very well made. Fits perfectly on the neck of the handle. Well worth the wait and cost.
It's a beast... I have a trapper, camp and mountainer axe from Hoffman and this one feels stout. I just want to take it out and destroy something with it 😆

I Received my bottle opener axe and really like it. Very light and the perfect size for my key chain. I only have one grip the bottle opener is only good for opening bottles. Mine did not have the flathead screwdriver on top and there is no edge on the axe so i can use it to open packages. Other then that great little opener.
This one of a kind hatchet is built by hand with the forging, the finish grind, the leather strike guard, blade sheath and handle fitment all of incredible quality. I have quickly become a fan of Liam Hoffmans work and am building a heirloom collection of his axes.
Much experience and thought went into this design. Add to that a passion for construction quality that goes above and beyond the competition. Next time I find myself in TN - I'd like to stop in and shake your hand.

I've been both using and collecting axes for over half a century, and I've never experienced anything like this Mountaineer. Meticulously crafted and well balanced., it "comes to hand" like magic. The octagonal handle has to be experienced to be appreciated. I've never had a axe sheath anywhere close to being made this well.
The feeling of happiness I got when I first held it in my hands was far beyond my imagination. I haven't used it yet, but I have no doubt it will become a wonderful companion. I will treasure the creator's thoughts in my heart. Thank you.
Fits perfectly in the driver's side door pocket of my RAM 2500. Gonna be great for emergency or general use.
This is such a beautiful tool. The craftsmanship is incredible, weight balance very well established, handle is made perfect for good grip but a smooth flow while splitting pieces that require a swing.
