Wasatch Axe Head
The Wasatch Axe is designed to be an all-around workhorse. Light enough to swing one handed but heavy enough for two handed tasks, this 2.25 pound head features a slightly upswept profile and a generous cutting edge. It is forged with a high center line for increased performance. It can be used comfortably on a handle ranging from 19” to 28”. It is perfect as a truck axe, camp axe, or house axe, making chores - splitting kindling and firewood, limbing trees, even felling and bucking small trees - a pleasure. Optionally, add Phantom bevels and custom sheath to your head below.

Featuring the standard LH logo stamp on the right side, this axe also has a ‘M’ logo on the left side of the axe, signifying both the Makers who will have the experience of hanging your Hoffman Axe on a handle of your choosing, and the Blue Ridge Mountains where it was forged.
One of a kind
All of our axes are hand forged, and one of a kind like a fingerprint. The axe head you receive may vary in texture from the pictured axe. If you notice a black line or “stretching” near the eye of your axe this is completely normal, and a part of the hand forging process of the eye.
