Looks Sweet ,I've done several myself this is truly another Hoffman custom I thought mine were "nice " they are but not on this level, and you talk about tight this thing is like a 1820's corset! Beauty and function great-Job !
This is my second LH axe and I absolutely love it! From the hammer head poll and top notch adventure grade sheath, I couldn't ask for more. The octagonal handle with bulb end allows for excellent control while using and I can't recommend this combo enough. Great job as always!
Just gotta love the wood bullet. Amazing craftsman ship, i really love the handle it is a half sap wood n half heart wood.

But the important part is how well does it split wood?I'venow split 5 cords of wood and the verdict is in: this axe is an amazing wood splitter!!

The Mountains To Sea is a compact camping/bushcraft hatchet. Its head geometry is intentionally designed to penetrate efficiently and release cleanly from the wood rather than bind deeply in a log. This is important for practical use.

First let me say I'm not a bushcrafter. But I do have a couple of large wooden bowls all hand carved and this cup although modern is a beautiful example of craftsmanship and looks really nice in the kitchen, really eye catching ,haven't had a drink out of it yet but it's in handsreach

The bit is very short (3 1/8 inches) it’s barely twice the length of the poll. It is not what I thought it would be from the video I have seen.

I bought this ax to replace my previous hunting ax which was made out of very soft steel and bent when I tried to cut antler. So the first thing I did when I got this new ax was try to cut antler and it held up with zero damage as expected. Everything about it from the steel to the handle to the sheath is top quality. I am confident this will hold up to years of relentless abuse. Worth the money!
